Having an interest as a photographer from a very young age it was a natural move that Scott Wilson open a photography studio when he became an adult. During his teen years he studied photography under the direction of his Uncle Leon Noland who was also a professional photographer and Director of Photography of the local television station and newspaper. During his teen years he was a photographer for his Jr. high school & senior high school yearbook and photographed portraits and weddings with his Uncle part-time. He also took every home study class he could afford while in high school including the New York Institute of Photography course, which is still considered one of the finest self-study photography programs available.

After he graduated high school he studied photojournalism at his local university an upon graduation, he opened Wilson's Photography Studio in Lake Jackson, Texas. He later moved to Houston where he became a master peace officer for 24 years until he honorably retired from service. He also continued to run his photography business while he was serving as a police office and photographed hundreds of events, weddings, crime scenes and commercial assignments.

He later merged his business with TLS Graphics Inc., which is a commercial printing, & awards company. After several years working exclusively shooting print ad photography for TLS graphics Inc. He decided to start shooting publicly again and opened Houston Event Photography photographing private and corporate special events, school portraits and events, seasonal themed portraits, sporting events, private forensic and arson cases and executive portraits.

Scott is a member of the Texas Professional Photographers Association, Professional Photographers of America, Wedding Portrait Photographers International, Houston Professional Photographers Guild and the Pro4uM Professional Photographers Community. He also regularly attends various professional training seminars including the Texas School of Professional Photography at Texas A&M University every year to stay current with the newest photography trends and techniques.
