Houston Event Photography has always been a supporter of our law enforcement, first responders, military, and military JROTC departments, employees, and programs. Scott served not only as the owner of this company but also as a master police officer for 23 years until his on-duty injury forced him into early retirement and over 35 years as a 911 Paramedic in the Louisiana, Texas, and Houston area. He is dedicated to those who serve and continues to volunteer for many organizations and projects involving our law enforcement, first responders, military, veterans and school JROTC programs. He is also the Director of Photography for Honor Flight Houston a totally volunteer organization that provides free flights to to Washington, DC for veterans who served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam war to visit their memorials. They do this so veterans so they can heal, cry, laugh and remember the sacrifices they and their buddies made to our country. Scott flies with them to capture their experiences. As a former police officer, and first responder Scott knows first hand the sacrifices that all who served take daily. Therefore he takes great pride when working and photographing them and respects the privacy that some require to do their jobs.
